Long gone are the days when we could hang a sign outside and rest on our laurels. Setting up and maintaining a private practice is an active process that often requires a lot of thought and experimentation. They certainly didn't teach this kind of thing in my degree program! As a therapist, you support others as they navigate new territory and now you might need a coach, or at the very least a cheerleader, as you begin this new venture. Setting up a private practice was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done and I had a lot of help doing it. I am happy to share my knowledge and experience with you. We were not meant to do this alone.
