These are tough times. I decided to keep my therapy practice open and offer sessions virtually. I look forward to supporting you and meeting with you exactly where you are in this new way. I am still researching whether insurance will cover telehealth and the policies are updated daily. If you are using insurance to pay for sessions, I recommend calling your insurance company to verify that telehealth is a part of your plan. Take a deep breath. exhale slowly. Connect with yourself and this moment. Drop down into your body. Ask yourself, "what is the smallest, kindest thing I can do for myself right now?" Do that one small thing. And to close, here are some words of wisdom gathered from various sources for our path forward... "Name your fears but do not feed them." ~ Heatherash Amara "We were made for these times." ~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes "Wakanda is strong enough to help others and protect itself." ~ Nakia in Black Panther "We are all rowing this boat together." ~ Unknown “It’s like that quote – we’re not all in the same boat, we are in the same storm, but we are in very different boats.” ~Bethany Simons "To die is to be human. Anything human is mentionable. Anything mentionable is manageable." Fred Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood "When one can see no future, all one can do is the next right thing." ~ Pabbie from Frozen 2 In the Chinese language, the ideogram for crisis also means opportunity. peace, love & hand sanitizer, Jillian
