Advocacy

​slowly drop by drop
water will carve a canyon
gently shaping earth

so can we
word by chosen word
one action at a time
shape the policies, systems
the face of laws
​that hold and care for us all

to serve the rights of all living beings
be willing to go slow
persistent like water
and stay in the process
change is already happening
